Shilpa Bharti

Rose is a published author and artist. She was nominated for India’s most coveted women author by JK Paper and Times of India in 2020. She is also the founder and editor-in-chief of Open Leaf Literary Journal and serves on the editorial panel of several other literary journals. She has been a judge for several poetry contests, such as the Poetry Pea Haiku Contest. Rose has an impressive record of published literature globally, with her work appearing in Failed Haiku Journal, Poetry Pea Journal of Haiku and Senryu, Creatrix Haiku Journal, Neo Literary Journal, Narrow Road Journal (Young Voices slot), An Ode to the Queer Journal, Howling Press, Throat to Sky Magazine, The Origami Review Journal, and Resurrection Press. Her forthcoming work includes poems in the Sahitya Akademi, and her artwork has appeared in several other art journals. Rose is also the author of a children’s haiku book titled Coral and Its Reef.
