Clueso, a startup focused on automating video production for businesses, announced on 13 October 2026 that it has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Dharana Capital. Other participating investors include Founders Future, Neotribe Ventures, and existing backers Y Combinator and f7 Ventures. This latest round brings Clueso’s total funding to over $12 million, with more than 80% of the new capital coming from prior investors doubling down on their commitment.
The company’s platform aims to simplify the video creation process, addressing the needs of over 1,000 businesses including Atlassian, Zendesk, and Gainsight. These companies leverage Clueso to produce various types of videos, such as customer onboarding tutorials, training materials, and marketing content. Users have reported productivity increases of over five times and an 80% reduction in video production costs, according to reports from Clueso.
Clueso was founded by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash, and Neel Balar, who previously encountered the challenges of video production while working on their earlier venture, Desklamp Inc. Anand explained the time-intensive nature of traditional video creation, which could take weeks and cost thousands of dollars. With advancements in generative artificial intelligence, Clueso intends to automate much of the manual work involved in video production, streamlining the process for enterprises.
The platform uses AI agents that can navigate software interfaces to capture footage automatically. These agents understand a company’s products and workflows, allowing them to create tailored videos that meet specific business needs. Clueso’s capabilities include scriptwriting, voiceover generation, and video editing, enabling users to request adjustments post-production.
One of Clueso’s notable clients, Zendesk, has praised the platform for significantly reducing the time and effort associated with video production. Kevin Gross, Senior Manager of Instructional Design at Zendesk, stated that Clueso facilitates the transformation of product knowledge into polished learning experiences with minimal manual work.
Looking ahead, Clueso plans to enhance its market operations, expanding its team from 35 to 50 employees by the end of the year. The startup aims to broaden its video production capabilities to include interactive demos and documentation. Anand emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between automation and human creativity, allowing team members to focus on storytelling rather than technical production tasks.
Clueso’s innovative approach to video creation positions it uniquely within the enterprise sector, addressing the growing demand for high-quality video content in various business contexts.
