Finally, NIOS has released a revised date sheet for 10th and 12th students. Earlier, NIOS had released the exam schedule from 24th March to 24 April but it was postponed and it has been rescheduled again due to the increasing cases of Corona in the country. Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed via Twitter that it has been decided to re-conduct the exam. Through his twitter, the Union Education Minister told the students that the exam will be held from July 17th to August 13th in all exam centers in the country.
Physics History Library and Info Science and Sanskrit Grammar subjects will be in the examination to be held on 17th July for class 12th, while Hindustani Music will be subject for 10th. Exam timings are from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Both Secondary and Senior Secondary sheets have been released.

How to download official notification
- First of all, you have to go to the official website of the National Institute of Open Schooling which is nios.ac.in.
- As soon as the website is open, you have to go to an announcement section on the right side.
- After going to the Announcement section you have to search the NIOS date sheet.
- After this, you will get a PDF file of the date sheet, which you can download and check your schedule.
- You can also take a print of this for preparation purposes.
CBSE and CISCE have already released the revised date sheet of the remaining examinations, the news is also coming that almost all other boards can declare their remaining examinations till the next month.CBSE and some states have given relief to the students due to the lockdown that they can take the exam from their home state.NIOS had already issued the admit card. Still, if any students have not downloaded the admit card yet, they can download the admit card by following the steps given below.
How to download NIOS admit card
- Go to the official website of NIOS which is nios.ac.in
- As soon as the home page opens, you have to go to the students’ portal section.
- On clicking on the Students Portal section, this website will redirect you to sdmis.nios.ac.in
- If you look at the home screen, you will get a section of the public exam hall ticket.
- You have to click on it as soon as you click on the Public Exam Hall Ticket, you will be asked for details like enrollment number and hall ticket type.
- Submit the page after entering the details. Your hall ticket will be open. You can keep a print of it for reference.

The 10th practical exam date will be announced soon. Students are requested to keep visiting the website continuously so that you will get updates. If there is some mismatch in the admit card of a student, then they should inform the Concern Person of NIOS by mail or contact before the exam and can get the correction in the admit card.
Some important points to keep in mind before the exam
- Before going to the examination center, make sure that you have taken the admit card or not It is seen that in a hurry, students forget the admit card.
- While downloading the admit card, keep in mind that all the details mentioned in the admit card are correct and no spellings are mistaken.
- Reach Timely at Examination Center and try to reach 15 minutes ahead of schedule if possible.
- Do not carry any type of paper or electronic equipment with you.
- Have a good and full sleep before the exam so that there is no stress in the examination hall
- Before entering the exam hall, you will be verified by the examiner and if any exam rules are violated, you will not be allowed to enter
